My Dad has been typing the quote for years. Signing emails with it, putting it as his signature on plumbing help forums, wrote it in his Night Visions.
However, it’s not a hypocrites quote, there’s actually some debate on who originally said it, Saint Francis of Louis Nizer.
This quote reflects my Dads pride in his craftsmanship at not only plumbing but he was able to create, fix, make almost anything.
“craftsmanship goes beyond mere technical quality. It’s true that good machinery can produce parts with great consistency and accuracy when properly operated. However, without the craftsman’s touch the results will be acceptable, but not noteworthy.”
But why did he always think Hypocrites said this????
